This version of Bastila is an elusive tank that prioritizes survivability. Bastila is far from the best tank in the game. Juhani, Zaalbar (especially early), and Canderous (especially late) are all superior. But Bastila can do an adequate job, and there are some places where it makes sense within the story to bring her along.

It is worth noting that for Light Side playthroughs, the last few levels won't matter. Bastila will become unavailable after the Leviathan and, while she's still very central to the plot, she never rejoins as a party member, and therefore won't get to take those levels. Dark Siders are able to use her in part of the end game, though.
I put one point into STR to get it to an odd value (which becomes even with Master Valor). If you know you'll be using gear with an odd STR total, you may not want to do this (or alternatively, may want to put in two points).
I didn't specify skills. Class skills are: Awareness and Treat Injury. Both tend to be useful for melee characters, and she gets 2 skill points per level. So unless you're doing something special, probably just take those.
Bastila get 5 selected feats. She starts with the first ranks of Flurry and Two-Weapon Fighting, which work well for this build. Finishing those uses 4 of the 5. Toughness is the obvious choice for the last one, but substitute anything you prefer.
Bastila gets a reasonable number of Force Powers. Which she takes probably depends on the main character's build. The main character I created this build to accompany had decent buffs and single-target powers, but not much AoE or crowd control. So I took powers that filled those gaps, while avoiding duplication. That's why, for example, I didn't take the Valor line even though it is essential - the main character had that covered. Your needs may be very different.
Also, for story reasons related to the playthrough I created this build for, Bastila's Force Powers get darker as she levels up. Different choices might make sense for other playthroughs.
I intentionally stopped the Force Push line at rank two (Force Whirlwind), because Force Wave seemed like a downgrade by comparision for this version of Bastila.
